Sons Of Atticus brings together the songwriting and musicianship of two great friends Dylan Wright and Matt Joyce. What started in a rowdy hometown bar has grown into one of Australia’s most exciting modern alt-country duos, where gritty storytelling meets undeniable hooks.
Since their debut EP Jack’s Motel, the boys have toured the country, become Pratley Guitar ambassadors and played some of the country’s biggest stages, including Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater and Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Matt and Dylan’s recent single BORN TO ROAM scored them their first Golden Guitar win for Bluegrass Recording of the Year. The boys had the opportunity to perform it live at the 2026 Golden Guitar Awards while the track also reached #1 in Tamworth Country Radio.
Their sound is anchored by Dylan’s raw, haunting vocals and Matt’s dynamic guitar work, all wrapped in lyrical honesty and barroom grit. Their shows are foot-stomping and full of heart.
