
Sam has been writing and performing songs since an early age. He had been frontman to four-piece rock band Kumera Patch, before deciding to adopt a solo name.
In his late teens, Sam played several small festivals and toured the east coast leading up to the release of his debut EP ‘Summer’s Here’. In addition to pursuing his music, Sam then spent two winters in Canada with ongoing winters in Australia’s Snowy Mountains. Now, Sam performs full time for the rest of the year, and has begun building a reputation amongst folk festivals and venues throughout NSW and VIC.
Sam has supported the likes of Tim Freedman (The Whitlams, AUS), Daniel Champagne (AUS), When Chai Met Toast (INDIA), Scott Cook (CANADA).
Having released and toured his sophomore EP - West Of The Mountains - Sam has performed at festivals including Newstead Live, St Albans, Bundanoon Folk Festival, Tilba Festival, Granite Town, Cobargo Folk Festival Crossing Stage (3yrs), was selected for a showcase set at the Bohemia tent at the National Folk Festival, and more.
